It's the first week of January, a time when everybody & their brother make resolutions for the new year. I've had a few rattling around my head these past few days. Posting them here hopefully means I'll hold myself more accountable this year.
I resolve to:
Move every day. This could be as simple as taking a quick walk or as involved as a one hour pilates workout.
Be more positive. I make this same resolution every year, and little by little I'm getting better. This is more of a deep-down-inside change vs. what's on the surface. I'm fantastic at seeing the positive side & faking it, now all I have to do is believe it.
Soak up this time with the boys. It goes by so fast. Next year Jack will go to preschool M-F, half days. Our lazy Mondays will be gone - so I plan on enjoying them with these two little guys while they last!
Walk a half marathon. Already started ... I'm registered for my first one in May! I'm excited to train & cross that finish line with one of my closest friends.
Focus on what's next for my career. Marketing? PR? I need to figure out what I want to do & what it'll take to get there.
Get our family on a flexible income budget. We're spenders, not savers. That has got to change.
So as the Christmas decorations come down, the new year & new resolutions begin.
Bring it on 2010!
